Advanced Placement (AP) Exams

 The Advanced Placement Exam, is a three-hour standardized examination, that measures a students knowledge compared to college students completing a similar entry level college course.  Students take the AP tests upon  completion of the course in their junior or senior year of high school.  A score of 3 to 5 on the AP exam provides advanced placement and college credit at many U.S. and international colleges and universities and is an important factor in determining college acceptance and how well-prepared students are for college-level work.
